What You'll Contribute
As a
Senior Accountant, you will be key player to the organization, you'll drive efficiency and accuracy across financial operations. If you're a proactive communicator, strategic thinker, and meticulous number-cruncher, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include
- Corporate Bookkeeping: Maintain consistent accounting practices, monitor financial transactions, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, coordinate audits, and manage regulatory filings
- Accounting: Oversee dividend distributions, tax filings, budget preparation, and departmental finances
- Payroll Processing: Assist in PTO reconciliation and payroll approval in collaboration with HR
- Stock Management: Coordinate stock issuance and maintain shareholder records
- Financial Decision Making: Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategies and investments
- Financial Controls: Develop and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets
- Insurance Management: Review and renew corporate insurance policies annually
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum of four years' corporate bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
- High ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and web-based applications
