Autism Pediatric Therapy is an organization that provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy) for children with Autism, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, reading disabilities, behavior problems and ADD. Our company has been designing behavioral intervention and skill development programs for children in Texas with the goal of providing children a meaningful learning experience with compassionate care.

Job Description:
We are seeking candidates interested in joining our dynamic team. We utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to improve the skills and lives of the children we work with. We are also looking for caring individuals who have an interest in instructing children ages 2 through 14, display the ability to maintain high energy levels throughout the day, and the ability to collect progress data consistently and accurately.
Job Requirements:
- Entry Level / Experienced Preferred
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor level degree program in a related field. (E.g. Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.)
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and a willingness and interest to learn new techniques and methodologies
- Ability to collect progress data consistently and accurately
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
Job Duties:
- Maintaining and recording accurate progress data
- Maintaining teaching programs
- Providing children with autism 1:1 instruction. Skill areas include: communication, fine motor skills, daily living skills, and social skills
- Writing progress notes and providing reports to caretakers, as well as other staff members
- Participating in ongoing training
- Preparing and obtaining teaching materials
- Analyzing behavioral changes and interpreting clinical protocols
- Communicating program specifics to other team members
- Being able to work independently with minimum supervision after paid training
