Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Parts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking
- Oversee the logistics of parts distribution to dealership and OEM customers
- Utilize order management systems to track and fulfill parts orders
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of parts
- Collaborate with automotive repair technicians to identify and source necessary parts
- Implement effective warehouse management practices to optimize inventory levels
Experience:
- Proven experience in parts procurement and supply chain management
- Familiarity with dealership operations and OEM parts
- Proficiency in utilizing order management systems
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations in an automotive setting
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels
