CDL Class A Stock Order Driver

Position Summary The Stock Order Driver is responsible for driving a company truck on assigned daily routes to complete after hours deliveries of merchandise to company stores. This position will also pick up returns and shipping containers from the stores to return to the Distribution Center. This position will be home at the end of each work day. Duties and Responsibilities
• Load and unload truck unassisted
• Ensure the piece count is correct for each order and matches the freight bill
• Maintain all log books and company records
• Operate truck in a safe manner and obey all traffic laws
• Ensure all equipment and materials are maintained including equipment and materials assigned to the truck
• Promptly report any vehicle maintenance problems
• Follow all company safety guidelines
• Must complete hazmat and/or forklift training; follow all safety regulations and protocols regarding material handling equipment
• Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 1 year of experience in logistics or warehouse delivery driving is preferred
• Valid CDL Class A driver's license is required
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam with at least a 6 month certification
• Must be able to pass a drivers test in appropriate equipment
• Must maintain a driving record which meets federal, state and company standards
• Ability to read and identify part numbers that are numeric or alpha-numeric is required
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack
• Ability to exercise judgement and to work independently
• Must demonstrate consistency, accuracy and follow-through
