What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underwriting Assistant position at Auto Simple?
Our company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to work with our Director of Underwriting, in processing auto loan applications. In this position, you will have a combination of data entry, research, and administrative support duties. You work directly with the Director to help make their decision, which includes running a credit report checks on the applicants, confirming that all the information provided in the applications is accurate, and insuring proper deal structures. Our ideal candidate must have a drive for learning, and good problem solving skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect applicant information
- Maintain records of all applicants
- Confirm application is filled out properly with accurate data
- Run credit report checks on applicants
- Inspect the applications on behalf of the underwriter
- Perform data entry and clerical duties as needed
