Cashier

Job Summary :

Cashiers at AutoZone are the face of the company and play a critical role in providing excellent customer service. They handle the sales transactions at the point of sale in an efficient, friendly, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities :

• Greet customers as they enter the store and thank them when they leave.
• Operate POS systems to handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Process returns and exchanges, adhering to company policies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information on AutoZone products and services.
• Assist in maintaining the sales floor, including restocking of products and merchandising.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency in handling POS systems is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
