Auto-Chlor System is seeking a Technical Trainer for our corporate location in Memphis, TN. This position develops and manages the Auto-Chlor system training department, works with field personnel to develop and continue to improve the training process for all Auto-Chlor employees. This position evaluates company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate and enhance performance.

Position goals and responsibilities:
- Develops technical training programs according to organizational requirements
- Determines course content according to company objectives and goals
- Creates training schedules and classroom agendas
- Develops a comprehensive on-line training program
- Prepares training materials (presentations, worksheets etc.)
- Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
- Executes training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in group and individual settings
- Track data and report out on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
- Observes and evaluates results of training programs, obtains and implements feedback
- Determines overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a trainer in a manufacturing and/or service industry
- Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
- Experience in designing course content for mechanical-related positions
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining online training curriculum
- Ability to address training needs with complete courses
- Working knowledge in MS Office (especially PowerPoint)
- Outstanding communication skills and experience speaking to crowds
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Degree in a relevant technical field
- Certification such as CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) CPTM, preferred
