Forklift/Crane Experience in a production/manufacturing setting is preferred but we encourage those with some crane/forklift experience to apply as we will provide all the necessary training and certifications! Apply today to be a part of a winning team!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Sets up dies, fixtures, or assemblies assigned to production operators in accordance with OSHA standards and company procedures.
- Move materials in the plant as required
- Troubleshoots equipment failures and problems with appropriate personnel
- Assists with press changeovers
- Uses overhead crane to transport dies to press or die storage area
- Ability to read die setup sheet to consistently set die in correct bolster location
- Retrieve correct transfer fingers for job setup and place in correct locations on HMS rail system
- Uses Allen wrenches to change dates stamps for current production run
- Fills out die setting checklist for each setup to ensure die setup is complete and die is ready for production run
