We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator to join our team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer-numerical-controlled (CNC) machines that are used to cut and shape metal, plastic, or other materials into precise parts.

We will provide training for the right candidate who is eager to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
  • Load and unload materials into the machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate cuts and dimensions
  • Learn how to monitor and inspect machine operations to ensure that they meet the required specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of the machined parts
  • Learn how to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on the machines to ensure they operate efficiently
  • Assist in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to determine the machining requirements
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn computer programming and machine operating software
  • Ability to learn how to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Basic proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
