Automation Personnel Services, Inc. Has an opening position for Customer Service/ Inside Sales. This is a Temp to Hire position in Houston, TX. (Near Reliant Stadium)
Customer Service/ Inside Sales Job Summary
Respond to customer s inquiries or complaints regarding company s products or services. Determine best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. Knowledgeable of company policies, procedures, practices, products, and services.
Pay Rate:
$16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M- 5:00 P.M
Associate Duties and Responsibilities
Handle incoming customer service calls for the Surveil Shade Division, by providing solutions and/or responses to customer requests.
Ability to read and comprehend drawings and specifications to bid projects effectively and accurately.
Review lead websites and submit quote requests for projects, prior to bid closing dates.
Submit bids to customers in a timely manner for incoming phone and email quote requests.
Process new accounts for customers based on our credit criteria.
Provide authorization or approval for credit card transactions to Accounting for all orders.
Process and enter sales orders for custom and standard awarded projects.
Service walk-in customers, as needed.
Have knowledge of all product lines that customer service receives calls on.
Meet and accomplish monthly projected sales.
Understand procedures and timelines for product lines to effectively communicate order statuses to customers.
Always man the phone. Handle departmental filing.
Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
2 3 years of sales or customer service experience.
Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or equivalent.
Must have good communication, time management and organizational skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Awareness of tasks and duties to perform on an incoming call.
Ability to multitask.
High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to sit for a scheduled workday.
Ability to lift to 30 lbs. (Lifting Assessment will be given in office)
Ability to hear and understand to perform customer requirements.
Ability to communicate with customer both verbally and written.
Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
