FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Forklift Operator for a company based in Hartselle, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and to move them to various areas of the plant.
MUST HAVE FORKLIFT OPERATOR EXPERIENCE.
Pay Rate
$21.00 (day shift) and $22.50 (night shift)
Schedule and Hours
Rotating Days (Flexibility is mandatory)
1st Shift 7 : 00am-7 : 00pm
2nd Shift 7 : 00pm-7 : 00am
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs daily forklift checks prior to starting the shift each day.
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility and to the wrapper when the product is considered finished goods, Sort, pack, tie and label.
- Ensures inbound products and outbound products are free from damage and report any quality issues identified.
- Fills and replaces LP containers on propane powered lifts, removes and replaces batteries on electric powered lifts.
- Moves scrap boxes as required, and removes trash and garbage and places in compactor. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Background check and drug screen are required
- Steel toe shoes or boots are required.
- M ust have 5 years’ experience on Stand Up and Sit Down Forklifts .
