Job Summary:
The SSC AP Clerk is an onsite role supporting Check Processors by pulling and prepping checks for delivery as well as maintaining check printers and check stock.
Who would I interact with?
Interacts with AP Clerk Team, Check Processing Leadership and Variable Operations Leadership
Primary Job Responsibilities (included by not limited to):
- Matching back up/stubs to checks and prepping checks for mailing.
- Sort and route checks as they come off the check printers, attaching backup as needed.
- Confirm and prep Lien Payoff checks for delivery.
- Prepare FedEx packages daily for checks going overnight.
- Maintain check printers, paper levels and check stock.
- Complete daily stats
- Log all daily/Non daily tracking numbers corresponding to Fedex
- Assist where needed.
Problem Solving:
Ability to use all tools available in order to resolve problems in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years Accounts Payable experience or bookkeeping experience
- 10 Key 8,000 ksph
- Type 40 wpm
- CDK experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems
- Have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities
- Team player with superior service skills
- Excel knowledge
- High School diploma
- Basic computer knowledge
- Able to work onsite full time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dealership accounting/bookkeeping
Physical Requirements:
- This position includes but not limited to; typing, walking, standing & sitting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
