This is a 6 day work week. During the high season/summer/winter We do operate year round and are the only activity when the Ski resort is shut down, Winter months we operate Sleigh and Buggy rides as well as trail rides. This job is to take care of our guests for rides and interaction, to help out in other areas when needed.
During the low seasons we have more time to train horses and work on projects. As with any Equine job, there will be fences to be fixed, water troughs to clean, trails to be cleared etc. Ideal candidates will have verifiable working experience with horses, guidance, and trail leadership.
Must love horses and working with the public. Good horsemanship and horse experience required. Must be safety conscious, have the ability to instruct guests on how to ride and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, Responsible, Respectful, and a team player is a MUST!
Responsible for conducting safe trail rides. Feed and care for herd of 20 horses. Maintain and repair tack. Clean barn and surrounding areas daily. Willing to perform other maintenance duties as assigned – trail maintenance, fencing, hay etc. – and willing to work long hours.
Must have a clean background and provide 3 previous employer references. This is a Full Time / Seasonal job.

Equine care and basic maintenance such as mucking stalls and feeding are a daily part of this job. Housing may be provided to the right person(s) with no pets sorry we have dogs of our own therefore will not mix others with them.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
