Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Change Parts Coordinator is responsible for tracking, maintaining, and kitting of all change parts, along with the installation of all wet parts for changeovers. A keen eye for detail, impeccable communication skills and a positive attitude characterize this position. Provides additional support to floor technicians to support changeovers as necessary. Leads by example and represents the manufacturing mission of Safety First while making quality products and providing outstanding internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily, the production schedule, changeover list, and “machine / line readiness”; update CSI to reflect floor status
  • Kit change parts once a changeover has been identified
  • Maintain all change parts in good operating condition
  • Identify, catalog, and engrave any new or undocumented change parts
  • Aid in the change part BOM accuracy of setup sheets
  • Prioritize wet parts setup/changeover activities
  • Relay changes and information to the maintenance and production team members
  • Facilitate/Coach new process changes
  • Maintain the label printers in production and warehouse
  • Ensure the Kan Ban inventory is maintained within desired levels
  • Support with changeovers in any aspect as requested
  • Exemplify the “can do” attitude by being solution-oriented
  • Ensure Safety 1st culture and 5S compliance, maintains and adheres to all safety rules and reports safety issues

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or other related experience
  • Technical training or certification preferred
  • Motivated self-starter with above average math and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain pre-determined quality standards
  • Be a team player, creative thinker and problem solver
  • Good attention to detail, proficient verbal and written skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask under limited supervision
