What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at AV Inc.?

We are seeking a highly organized and responsible Office Assistant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will perform clerical tasks, emails and project coronations. Other duties will include assisting office managers and executives with preparing documents, organizing files, managing existing documents, and generally keeping the office organized, tidy, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clerical duties, including, but not limited to, mailing and filing correspondence, placing orders, and communicating with clients as well as vendors.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
  • Manage filing systems, update records, and organize documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory records and various documents.
  • Coordinate and maintain records of various types.
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties.
  • Create and maintain electronic systems for records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or associate’s degree.
  • Experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Able to type 35 wpm minimum.
  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills.

Working knowledge of office equipment. Thorough understanding of office management procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
