We are excited to recruit new talent to join our growing team! Currently, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and creative Technical Recruiter. The Technical Recruiter is responsible for supporting both our current contracts and efforts, as well as future growth and contingent needs across multiple open and future requisitions simultaneously, across several contracting efforts and in various locations. This position is also an integral part of the Human Resources Department and performs other HR functions as needed.
Day-to-Day Job Responsibilities:
- Manages Applicant Tracking Software (ATS)
- Maintains and provides recruiting training to Hiring Managers
- Provides full life cycle recruiting support including a valuable onboarding experience to include:
- Interviews job applicants with technical skills to select people meeting employer qualifications
- Reviews employment applications and evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants
- Documents additional knowledge, skills, abilities, interests, test results and other data pertinent to selection and referral of applicants
- Completing onboarding steps up to an individual's first day
- Tracks and ensures compliance with regards to recruiting and hiring practices
- Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work scheduled and working conditions, organization and union policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information
- Maintains accurate records of all applicants including those not selected for employment
- Adheres to metrics to ensure timely requisition fill and closure
- Makes recommendations to add or improve other valuable recruiting metrics or other key performance indicators
- Sources talent using best practices on job boards, postings, and referrals
- Leverages Social Media presence to attract new talent
- Maintains a talent pipeline of related professionals
- Performs other HR and recruiting functions as assigned
To qualify for this position:
- HS Diploma/Equivalent required
- At least 3 years’ talent acquisition experience, preferably with a DoD Contractor
- Demonstrated proficiency with outside job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and more
- Experience working within, configuring, and managing an ATS
