Description:

Our client needs financial talent to join their Technology and Data Innovation team helping manage our $101MM annual budget. They have been leveraging Apptio as our budget platform and software to create and manage our budgets. They need expertise to help move their team and budget process to the next level of maturity and precision. As their TDI Financial Analyst you will perform a variety of duties and responsible for managing the budget, variances and educating cost center owners.
Responsibilities:

• Analyze, monitor and report out on TDI budgets, monthly variance analysis ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives.
• Collaborate with TDI Cost Center Owners and product teams to gather, analyze, and report on financial data related to products.
• Create pro-rata and pro-forma models and run / burn rates to manage and support decision-making for TDI investments and initiatives.
• Track and report on TDI expenses, identifying opportunities for cost optimization through vendor management, renewals and licensing.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting for TDI expenditures.
• Assist in the development of TDI budget forecasts and variance analysis.
• Evaluate vendor contracts and licensing agreements for cost-effectiveness.
• Provide financial insights to TDI management to support strategic planning.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in TDI and Apptio financial management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a financial analyst, preferably in the IT sector.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in managing large budgets, financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Experience with Apptio a plus!
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with scaled agile, SAFe, and AWS Cloud.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA) are a plus.
