We help prepare our providers for the rise in consumerism and value-based care, so that they can get paid accurately, and timely, for their services.As a member of the Production Assurance and Technical Operations Group, the OC Product Owner will be working in the Availity Operations Center to own the Production Issue Management process. S/he will collaborate with other OC team members as well as teams across the enterprise to support the identification, classification, and remediation of client and system issues and anomalies that arise through daily Availity operations. This associate will coordinate and triage reported issues, investigate solutions, assign ownership, track progress, generate reporting metrics, as well as identify process improvements and efficiency gains to streamline the overall engagement process. S/he will work independently on specific project initiatives as well as collaboratively with other analysts to meet consistent service levels across the delivery process and shape and define the workflow evolution.
To be qualified for this position, you have:
- A minimum of 2-years related experience in a technology (information exchange) and/or health care environment either vendor or hospital experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with healthcare and/or a wide-ranging technology environment
- IT support and application troubleshooting skills and experience working in a 24/7 production Operations Center
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities, can respond by taking needed action without direct instructions
- Ability and desire to take ownership of a new process workflow and guide it into maturity
- Patience and determination for working complex problems through adversity to completion
- Experience using Jira, Splunk, New Relic, is a plus
- Superior organization and problem-solving skills; Issue/Incident Management experience a plus
- Exposure across a wide range of Availity technology and product workflows is a plus
What you will be doing:
- Establishing and gaining stakeholder alignment to a vision of what needs to be accomplished
- Working with OC Technicians, Analysts, Engineers, and Management to identify problems
- Working with teams across the Enterprise including Infra, Product/Dev, Alliance, etc., to track and provide solutions
- Analyzing and handling daily production support and issues requiring conflict resolution
- Coordinating and attending meetings for status reporting and process improvement
- Assisting and/or filling in for team members on daily and/or project work to ensure delivery
- Creating/updating documentation relating to our troubleshooting procedure knowledgebase, response playbooks, contact grids, etc.
- Identifying procedural gaps and opportunities for improvement and/or automation, and coordinating the planning and rollout of the related
