HR Budgets Analyst

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $76,186- $95,233 HR Budget Analyst Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance and a minimum of 5 years of financial analysis and vendor management experience preferred. Skills/Abilities: Able to work with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of HR SAP, SAP Financials. Excel expert with capacity to use Macros and complex excel formulas Demonstrated capacity to meet deadlines and work with time sensitive payment processes Excellent Analytical and technical skills Result and proactive orientation Strong Verbal and written communication skills with all levels of an organization Strong time management, scheduling and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal focus skills and the ability to explain matters with confidentiality and tact JOB SUMMARY: Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships: Provide analytical support in HR financial information and processes related to SAP, HR External Services and other functional costs. Assist in preparing of all budget and financial forecasts for HR. Assist in preparing monthly analysis and reporting of financial forecasts for HR. Handle day to day HR vendor payment processes for multi-company programs. Communicate and liaise with HR Team, Finance/Control Team and Vendors to validate invoices, request budget transfers, resolve errors and process payments from end to end. This position is located in Orange CT. MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities): Provide analytical support in HR financial information and processes related to SAP, HR External Services and other functional costs. Work closely with HR budget coordinators to assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, monitor budget availability and existing commitments for HR. Prepare financial analysis reports for HR External Services and functional costs including variance explanations. End to end processing of HR vendor payments for all Avangrid companies. Initiate, execute, monitor and report on expenditures and payment processing for a range of vendors. Collaborate with the corporate finance/control team to provide accurate and timely budget information including allocations between operating companies and business areas. Provide variance analysis on assigned vendors budget for review and submission to HR Leadership. On-board new vendors to payment procedures and develop collaborative relationships with vendor representatives. Execute a continuous improvement approach to vendor management, making suggestions for streamlining and automating the payment processes. Support the HR Teams by participating in projects, assisting with business evaluations, and providing coverage to related teams. As a utility affiliated employee, must be available for storm duty which may include; overtime, evening or weekend work.
