Job Summary

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
- Provides tactical and strategic support for all staffing needs for the company, including: developing and administering policies, procedures, and controls
- Assists in determining and administering departmental budget. Manages the administration of wage programs including performance management, merit reviews, etc. for staff
- Leads and implements the recruiting process by gaining the understanding of hiring managers’ needs, establishing strong relationships with business partners, identifying various sources and overseeing a recruitment team that embraces change and can continually deliver in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Identifies and recommends creative solutions for the sourcing of diverse, technical and professional talent
- Supervises the day-to-day operations of recruitment and staffing
- Coaches and mentors recruiters and recruiting support teams to successfully achieve objectives and enhance recruiting skills. Proactively manages recruitment activities in an aggressive and progressive manner utilizing all appropriate and available social media resources.
- Monitor teams performance based on key metrics and drives performance improvements; responsible for ensuring KPIs related to recruitment are achieved.
- Implements successful high volume and employment strategies that are aligned with organizational and global requirements.
- Partners with college/university community to network organizational recruitment needs and establishes relationships to build talent acquisition.
- Oversight of staffing compliance, communication, reporting and training.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years relevant experience required. Degrees in business, HR or related fields are preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in staffing/recruitment, 2-3 years of managerial background or previous consulting as well as a Master's degree are considered a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring Managers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the business needs and strategy and articulate the needs of a position. Previous experience in the energy industry preferred.
- Familiarity with recruiting and staffing compliance requirements.
- Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced, ever changing environment; adaptable to managing multiple projects and shifting priorities required.
- Demonstrated competence in thinking strategically, analytically, conceptually and innovatively; willing to be hands-on through daily activities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to foster team culture that embraces change and is results driven.
- Process improvement experience.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Proficient in MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems and SAP and associated recruitment modules or other HRIS required.
- Understanding of DOL, ERISA, FLSA, EEO, AAP, OFCCP and other HR related laws and regulations.
