Job Summary

In this role, you will report to the Onsite Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.
What we’re looking for
Education: Associate degree in business or secretarial science (two-year program)/ High School Diploma/GED required or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum 2 years of administrative experience is required
Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extraordinary interpersonal and relationship building skills, with a high degree of discretion and courtesy in dealing with others.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
Adept at developing and maintaining detailed administrative and procedural processes.
Ability to manage sensitive, complex, confidential information.
Robust digital literacy; knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite applications.
Detail oriented, with good organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, manage time & problem solve.

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will:
Display a professional reputation and provide exceptional service to all customers, potential customers, and associates.
Answer and direct phone calls in a well-mannered and expertly.
Maintain reception area and other common areas.
Operate standard office equipment.
Take inventory of office supplies and request replenishment, as needed.
Review visitor log at end of day to ensure temporary FOBS are returned and visitors have exited premise.
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail.

Salary : $26,800 - $33,900
