The Parts Manager is responsible for the overall management of the parts department, including inventory management, customer service, and employee supervision.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience working in a parts department, preferably in the automotive industry.

Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure that the parts department has the necessary parts to meet customer demand.
  • Order parts from suppliers and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Process customer orders and provide excellent customer service.
  • Supervise and train parts department employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience working in a parts department, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Experience with computer software programs used in parts departments is a plus.
