Job Purpose: Responsible for supporting the company’s operations by maintaining on-site facilities access systems and providing an onsite administrative link to Aventiv Corporate office.
THIS IS A 100% ONSITE IN HOUSTON, TX.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Maintenance: Maintaining the building, grounds, equipment, and supplies
- Operations: Overseeing operations, maintenance, and security
- Administrative support: Providing administrative support, such as budgeting, procurement negotiation, contractor liaison, and documentation.
- Security: Developing and enforcing security policies. Issue and maintain office security (pins, fobs, alarm codes, etc.)
- Coordinate overall administrative activities of the office.
- Keep management informed of office operations.
- Act as the facility safety administrator. Conduct audits and implement corrective actions. Coordinate evacuation drills. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, laws, and municipal codes
- Coordinate facility disaster preparedness and recovery.
- Communicate all HR matters with local and Corporate management in accordance with company policy.
- Environmental maintenance: Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- This is an “in-office” position not virtual.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
- Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years’ experience in office administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment. Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
