Shop Technician

A provider of cost-effective and environmentally friendly technology in the Sheldon Iowa area is looking for a Shop Technician to join their growing team! The Shop Technician will efficiently assemble/repair generating equipment by possessing good mechanical aptitude and skills. Able to follow assembly directions including plumbing and electrical drawings, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair.

A provider of cost-effective and environmentally friendly technology in the Sheldon Iowa area is looking for a Shop Technician to join their growing team! The Shop Technician will efficiently assemble/repair generating equipment by possessing good mechanical aptitude and skills. Able to follow assembly directions including plumbing and electrical drawings, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair.
Responsibilities
- Reading and understanding wiring, plumbing, and assembly drawings. Attend and participate in project review meetings.
- Communicate with team members of any changes or discrepancies in drawings or assembly instructions. Assembly of oxygen systems.
- Comply with company safety policies.
- Troubleshooting within project and Research and Development department.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
- Able to stand for several hours on concrete.
- Ability to lift, pull, bend, climb, kneel, stoop, or otherwise work in an awkward angle, or repetitive motion.
- Be able to perform basic math, reading, and using a tape measure. Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or electrical industry preferred. Self-starter with a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team or individual environment.
- $16-$20/hr. DOE
- Paid every Friday.
- Direct Deposit and/or Paycards Available.
