The primary purpose of the STNA is to provide high quality daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan and in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The role of the STNA assist residents in completing all activities of daily living including ambulating, transferring, bathing, dressing, eating and toileting.

- Takes ownership of their respective administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, charting, and follow up in a timely manner

- Participates in scheduled trainings, in-services and programs to maintain certification and enhance the quality of care provided to all residents
- Work directly with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals in a professional manner
- Strong communication skills to team members to aid in the care and treatment of residents and the development of person- centered care plans
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to effectively multi-task and remain calm under pressure required
- Basic computer skills required; experience with Point Click Care preferred
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, turning and pushing
- Maintains a professional mannerism
- Self- starter and problem solving mindset
