Job Summary • The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigning and coordinating patient care for all patients in the department, utilizing the nursing process. • Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. • Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives. Education and/or Experience • Graduate of a Registered Nursing Education program preferred. • One year of clinical practice preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration • Current RN Licensure in the state of SD or “multi-state privilege” to practice is SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD required. • BLS certification required. Work Schedule • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 72hrs/2wks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
