Avera is seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) to join AveraPosition Highlights:

- The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner is accountable for providing appropriate medical care to all patients under the supervision of the supervising physician by assessing physical, psychological and social dimensions of patients; applying knowledge and understanding of human behavior in health and illness.
- Licensed in South Dakota as Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- SD RN License if Certified Nurse Practitioner.
- BLS within 6 months from hire.
- ACLS within 6 months from hire.
- PALS within 6 months from hire.
- ATLS within 6 months from hire.
- 24hr on call when scheduled; 40 hours every 2 weeks
- Weekend rotation: 2 out of 6 weekends
- Holiday rotation: 2 holidays per year
- All shifts are on call shifts
