Job Summary Perform clerical duties: answer phones, take and relay messages, schedule patients, fax and file documents. Assist with errands for department staff. Assist in departmental work and visitor flow escorting patients and families between departments. Perform appropriate supportive care for patients under the direction of a nurse. Accompany patient to exam room and assess vital signs, perform EKGs and transport specimens to lab. Coordinate patient, maintenance or repair services from other departments under direction from nurse. Clean and restock exam rooms and patient care equipment. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old. Previous work in a hospital or long term care facility preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) registry preferred but not required. BLS within 30 days of start date. Work Schedule Monday - Friday:#8:00 am - 5:00 pm; 72#hours every 2 weeks. One Saturday morning shift very 8-12 weeks. Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
