Job Summary
Performs radiologic examinations to allow accurate interpretation for diagnosis. Performs DXA procedures. Completes all appropriate paperwork.
Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree in Radiography or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required. DXA experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate (Radiology) certification required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certificate in Bone Densitometry (BD) required or obtained within one year of employment.
Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) by the ISCD required or obtained within one year of employment.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:45am-4:45pm or 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
$25.00 - $37.75 per hour
