Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Scrub Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH#s patient-focused setting. SUMMARY: Registered Nurse who functions in the Surgical Services setting, specifically, but not limited to the role of Circulator.# Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations.# Addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.# Communicates with surgeon and anesthetist continuously and as needed about patient condition and plan of care during intraoperative phase.# Demonstrates knowledge and competence in utilizing the computer system to perform nursing responsibilities.# Hours of the position will vary based on the surgery schedule and includes a rotating#weekday, weekend, and holiday call#rotation. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Associate degree or above in nursing.# Six months RN experience required to work in the Operating Room.# Previous experience as a scrub nurse is preferred. CERTIFICATION and LICENSURE: Current Iowa RN license.# Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting or achievement according to hospital Education Policy.
