Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a part-time position (24 hours per week) in our Wound Care Department for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound, Ostomy & Incontinence (WOC RN)
We are looking for an AMAZING RN – Wound, Ostomy, & Incontinence with a "Get It Done" attitude! The ability to work with a TEAM in a collaborative and communicative environment is a MUST!
WOC RN Responsibilities:
- Provide professional wound and ostomy nursing care through the nursing process as directed by the physician.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel in the provision of care related to wound, ostomy and/or incontinence to the patient.
- Maintains a safe and efficient environment for the patient and personnel.
- Flexible 8-hour shifts (8:00am – 4:30 pm).
Registered Nurse Requirements:
- Licensed as a registered nurse in Iowa and/or meets the requirements of multi-state licensure required. Graduate of NLN approved program of nursing.
- 2 years of RN experience
- ACLS/BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee.
- Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
- Vaccinations for MMR, Flu and COVID-19 are required. Individuals who are seeking an exemption from these requirements for medical or religious reason should contact Human Resources for details.
