What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator position at Avera?
The Strength and Conditioning Coordinator assists with development of Strength and Conditioning programming services to regional athletes including evaluations, training and documentation components working closely with the Supervisor of Strength and Conditioning. Directly leads strength and conditioning programming in various regional communities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelors' degree is required with an emphasis in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or Physical Education.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
- This position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Sacred Heart automobile liability insurance carrier.
- CPR Certification Required.
- Requires certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
