Location: Merritt Island, FL - Onsite
6 month contract with potential for extensions and conversion to FTE
We are partnering with our space development client to hire Industrial Engineers (Level II and III)! This is a unique opportunity to join the space exploration mission in a rapidly growing & developing company!

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on optimizing manufacturing processes and enhancing operational efficiency. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional adept at analyzing production workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions.
- Conducting time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Designing layout and workflow improvements to optimize productivity.
- Implementing lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and streamline operations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Providing technical support and training to production staff.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFCATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with [specific manufacturing software/tools].
