Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Shift: Day
Pay: $22-$24/hr

Summary: To assemble electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, products, or systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders by following written procedures, drawings, verbal instructions, and sample assemblies.
- Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in fixture or other holding device.
- Join or secure parts in place by using solder, crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, cements, and press fits.
- Connect component lead wires to printed circuit boards or routes and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
- Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in molds.
- Execute intermediate assembly tasks including potting, encapsulating, impregnating, epoxy bonding, curing, coating, stamping, etching, sanding, and cleaning of assemblies.
- Conduct online go-no-go testing and inspection of parts to ensure assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Clean molds, and cast instruments, cups and spacers for re-use or testing.
- Clean subassemblies (may involve the use of isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or Flux-Off).
Qualifications:
- IPC 610 soldering certificate.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions and procedure manuals.
