Avery Dennison is looking for a High Volume Hourly Recruiting for a contract position to support recruiting for non-exempt, hourly positions in our Greenfield, Indiana manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should be a dedicated and highly-engaged teammate who thrives in a fast paced work environment, can effectively partner with Human Resources and Hiring Teams at our manufacturing location, and drive for results.
This position will primarily work remotely but must be located in the Greenfield, Indiana area as the expectation will be to travel on site for occasional meetings as well as working to build community partnerships in the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes for hourly positions which will include: requisition posting, sourcing and high volume phone screening, interview scheduling, providing guidance on the selection of candidates, process offers and pre-employment steps, as required
- Proactively build partnerships within the community to develop future candidate pools. Examples include tech schools, veteran organizations, local high schools, diversity and inclusion organizations, etc.
- Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) and internet sourcing tools to fill open positions
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition colleagues to plan for hiring needs and build recruitment strategies
- Own internal site staffing processes and deliver ongoing progress updates to stakeholders
- Ensure a positive candidate and hiring team experience by providing timely feedback and consistent communication
- Perform administrative tasks and project work associated with the role
Qualifications
- Sourcing, HR and/or recruiting experience is required - 3 years preferred
- 1 year in high volume recruitment preferred
- Ability to travel to community partners as needed
- Ability to conduct a high volume of phone screens on a daily basis is a requirement
- Prior experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS) preferred.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with an ability to influence stakeholders and build strategies
