SUMMARY
As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and effective content that aligns with our marketing strategy and resonates with our target audience. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and sales teams to develop content that supports our business objectives and drives leads and conversions.
Candidates within commutable distance to Dallas or Houston are strongly preferred, but those outside of an office area may be considered.If residing within commutable distance to our office in Lehi, Dallas, Houston, or Irvine, a hybrid schedule would be offered (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a deep understanding of our software products, target audience, and marketing strategy
- Create thought leadership and marketing content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, emails, social media posts, and website copy
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify content needs and opportunities, and develop content plans that align with our marketing objectives
- Conduct research to inform content creation, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Optimize content for SEO and social media engagement
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it is accurate, high-quality, and aligned with our brand voice and tone
- Analyze content performance and use data to inform content strategy and make recommendations for improvement
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the software or technology industry
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt writing style to different formats and audiences
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with SEO and social media best practices
- Familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
- Passion for technology and software, with a desire to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
