We are looking for Solar Crew Leads who have a passionate interest in solar energy and a drive to lead and grow our solar division. The ideal candidate will bring solar experience, professionalism, reliability, and will be detail oriented. In addition, we’re looking for individuals who have a desire to pursue solar certifications and advance in Aveyo’s career path. Experience in solar installation is required, and willingness to travel for out of town projects is always a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead solar crew with layout and assembly of solar panels and racking hardware
  • Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
  • Properly repair and seal roof penetration
  • Perform maintenance on the solar system as needed
  • Prepare inventory for installs and document completion of installation
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Project clean up
  • Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solar or Construction experience is required
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Must be able to routinely lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: heat, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal check, MVR and drug screen
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Able to work with power tools
  • Must follow all safety policies and standards for working

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret and apply 2020 NEC requirements to PV systems
  • Experience reading and interpreting one-line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential and commercial electrical services and distribution panels
  • Must be able to work with high voltage systems 600Vdc to 1500Vdc
  • Must be able to work with services 240Vac, 208Vac, and 480Vac in single and three-phase systems (and other variations)
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

  • OSHA: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
