Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate surveying projects remotely, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance as needed.
- Oversee a team of surveyors and technicians, providing leadership, support, and mentorship to ensure project success.
- Conduct remote site visits and inspections using advanced surveying equipment and software.
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and other deliverables for high end residential and reputable commercial clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of surveying.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Surveyor license (PLS) in the state of Florida preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a proven track record of managing surveying projects.
- Proficiency in surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GPS/GNSS technology.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote teams and communicate with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits if required.
