Our Certification Engineer’s responsibilities include:
- Leading the certification process for avionics systems, ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory standards (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Collaborating with both internal and external design and development teams to integrate certification requirements into the product lifecycle.
- Conducting thorough reviews of our avionics systems, including software and hardware, to identify potential compliance issues.
- Reviewing drawings and reports to ensure consistency, clarity, completeness, and conformity to regulatory requirements.
- Preparing and maintaining detailed documentation for certification submissions, including test plans, reports, ICA, IM, PGA, and compliance matrices.
- Coordinating with regulatory bodies and participating in audits and inspections.
- Providing technical guidance and support to engineering teams in the development of compliant avionics systems.
- Staying up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in avionics systems.
- Providing concise and objective written and oral communications, in a timely manner to leadership, internal teams, and external third parties.
- Participating in risk assessments and safety analysis of avionics systems.
