Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping and receiving materials, and material handling and completing all required paperwork in accordance to company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
* Unloads goods and material received, enters appropriate information into system, labels and locates material.
* Separates customer orders. Pulls and stages orders. Repacks material if required to meet customer specifications. As required, makes boxes, packs, labels and locates materials.
* Ensures all products are properly labeled.
* Prepare items for shipping.
* Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
* Operate forklift.
* Participates in cycle counting. Enters and verifies information. Researches and makes adjustments as necessary.
* Inventory.
* Process daily shipping and receiving log.
* Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
* Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
* Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- At Least Two Years Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse Experience
- Valid Driver's License and Good Driving Record
- US High School diploma, GED equivalency or relevant experience
- Computer Literate
- International Shipping is a plus
- Forklift Experience
* Use of RF Scanners

The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Be aware that in this position you will be working with powdered colorants and more times than not, you will be grimy and dirty at the end of the day.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
- Be able to lift, push or pull up to 200 lbs. with the aid of equipment.
- Be able to stand/walk for 10-hour shift.
- Be able to communicate orally and in writing.
- The employee must be able to read at a level of comprehension sufficient to meet job requirements.
