You must be proficient in basic and advanced grammar rules and understand how they are used within our style guides. Our ideal candidate is meticulous in reviewing copy, noting errors such as punctuation, spelling, and word usage, and knows how to check statements for accuracy or potential plagiarism. You must communicate effectively with the writers and other staff to ensure documents meet all company guidelines.ResponsibilitiesReview documents for grammar, spelling, and styleFact-check dates and other statements for accuracyConfirm all submitted writing is originalEnsure text meets tone and character count outlined by company policiesMake corrections and suggest edits to the documentMeet proofreading deadlinesQualificationsRequirements and QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant experienceFamiliarity with AP and other style guidesFact-checking and research expertiseExcellent grammar and communication skillsProficiency in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft OfficeAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
