We are recruiting a full-time Inside Sales Representative for our client in Owatonna, MN. The Inside Sales Representative will provide outstanding customer service, acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their diverse product offering and services. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing customers with best-in-class service that builds lasting relationships, resolves issues, and increases overall trust and satisfaction with products and services.
- Pay: starting at $18.50/hr. and up based on experience
Responsibilities
- Develop new and build existing customer relationships, ensuring a continued level of excellence within the entire sales process, including order taking, customer follow-up, helping customers. with pricing, customer expedites, shipment tracking, and order entry.
- Continually maintain working knowledge of all company products, capabilities, and promotions.
- Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.
- Manage time effectively, meeting personal and department goals and work in collaboration with other members of the team.
- Manage customer service-related activities, including customer escalations/complaint resolution, by working closely with Quality, Operations and Credit teams.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills and proven ability to perform in an unpredictable, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills including strong phone etiquette skills, verbal communications, grammatical and professional business skill sets.
- Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
- Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong teamwork.
- Advanced computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn new systems.
- Associate degree in related area; or High School degree with 2 years’ experience in an office setting.
- 2 or more years of experience in customer service or sales experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related area (preferred).
- CRM experience a plus.
