Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Growth Marketing Manager to focus on data analysis, experimentation, and supporting performance marketing channels. Must have DTC experience.
This individual will be an analytic and creative person who can expand our paid acquisition efforts across multiple channels and will develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. We’re looking for a well rounded marketer with experience in using data driven frameworks and insights to prioritize our efforts. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Development, Product) to analyze performance data and optimize marketing efforts across the entire customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze performance metrics, conduct A/B testing, and derive insights to enhance performance across web and marketing channels
- Experimentation: Design and implement high velocity experiments to test new growth strategies, unlock new acquisition channels, and optimize existing ones
- Performance Marketing: Support external resources and manage budgets while relentlessly optimizing our paid acquisition efforts
- Project Management: Drive strategy of key growth marketing initiatives, prioritize and manage projects and budgets at scale
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Strategize and support Conversion Rate Optimization efforts to increase conversion rates across the customer journey
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Align marketing efforts with business goals through close work with product, sales, and customer success teams
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Understand customer needs and behaviors, and analyze competitor activities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-7 years in growth marketing, digital marketing in a DTC field with proven results in data analysis and experimentation
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, analytics platforms, CRM systems, and A/B testing methodologies
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or relevant work experience
- Channels: Varying levels of experience with paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google Ads, and Influencers) and organic/owned channels (Email/CRM, SEO, and Referrals)
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data interpretation and decision-making skills; able to ask the right questions and make recommendations
- Experimentation: Experience in designing and implementing marketing experiments; basic understanding of statistics and what makes an experiment statistically significant
- Performance Marketing: Foundational understanding of performance marketing channels and optimization techniques; understanding of omnichannel marketing and how various marketing channels affect each other
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication abilities. You’re comfortable challenging ideas and equally comfortable having your own ideas challenged
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and flexible approach to change
- Autonomous: Able to prioritize autonomously in the short and long term; able to work with minimal direction
