A leading consumer products company is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the consistent application of company policies and core employee relations processes while acting as the subject matter expert for emergency situations. The ideal candidate will be Bi-lingual and must speak both Spanish and English. The company offers a great work environment!
Employee Relations Consultant Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $55-60/hr
- Worksite: Leading consumer products company (Remote, preference for EST candidates)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment,
Employee Relations Consultant Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent usage of ER guidelines and company policies across International.
- Provide guidance and coaching for ER cases and situations led by International HR Managers as needed.
- Conduct investigations for complicated or sensitive ER cases.
- Applies employment law and policy knowledge to consult with Intl HR Managers, HRBPs, or people managers to work through ER cases to positive resolution.
- Oversees data tracking and consolidation in our ER case management system. Creates insights from data, using trends and metrics information to inform process and program improvements.
- Provides ER training to Intl HR Managers and HRBPs as needed Develop tools, and training - processes for Intl ER topics
- Establishes a baseline for practical application of cases and is able to identify solutions for future cases with unique factors.
- Leads (sensitive or complicated cases) or supports Intl HR Managers on harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment, compliance hotline, DFEH/EEOC investigations. Ensures HR policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with local laws; develops, recommends, and implements human resources policies to meet organizational needs.
- Identifies updates and documents processes and procedures. Partners with in-house counsel as necessary to effectively deal with possible conflicts related to employment practices.
Employee Relations Consultant Qualifications:
- Ideally, 5 years of HR experience, preferably within Employee Relations, Consulting or HR Generalist role - a multi-national environment.
- Comfortable working in matrix organization and dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Must speak both Spanish and English and must be strong in both written and verbal communication.
- Flexibility with Time Zone as will be supporting LATAM, Asia and Australia.
- Strong consulting skills - influencing, collaboration, contracting, and responsiveness
- Flexibility in dealing with ambiguity and ah-hoc requests
Salary : $55 - $60
