Job Description

To engage with customers in the field regarding past due billing and providing an opportunity for point of contact payment. Will read meters (gas and electric) at either a specific location or in accordance with scheduled routes. Engages regularly with customers either directly or indirectly. Employees in this position must be able to communicate clearly with customers while maintaining the highest level of customer experience.

As this position is a high customer interaction position, it is critical that individuals in this classification maintain the highest level of attention to safety, for the customers we serve and our fellow employees.  

Requirements
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.  Requires valid driver’s license.  Previous experience in electrical, electronics, or gas/line construction preferred with demonstrated mechanical ability.  Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite or similar computer applications. Demonstrated strong positive communication and customer service skills required. Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
