Principal Responsibilities:
Uses knowledge of business functions and processes, configures and may design products, functionality of software packages and implementation tools and methodology to configure packaged software products to meet business requirements and specifications.
Works closely with business partners and customers to identify stakeholders' business and functional requirements during the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems
Ensures the overall effectiveness of software systems and proactively evaluates, recommends and implements cost effective improvements.
Creates and validates functional and technical specifications, documentation .
Facilitates cross-functional team meetings and projects to address business problems or systems issues
Manage Defects and Enhancements in HPQC for Logistics applications
SAP and Red Prairie change or enhancement specifications for Interfaces; IDocs and Red Prairie HUB
Sox Auditing controls for internal and external auditors for Red Prairie, SAP, and Warehouse Operations SOX controls .
Monitors, evaluates and reports on the ongoing performance and capacity of assigned area(s) of the computing environments (software and hardware specifications) in order to ensure business requirements are met.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Level Specifications:
5 years Red Prairie WMS configuration and support experience
5 years Warehouse Logistics (Allocation, Slotting, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control)
3 years SAP experience
AIX/Unix, and Oracle Database experience
Red Prairie Moca command and SQL experience
Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories and concepts. Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determine best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve policies and procedures.
Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work may be reviewed at a high-level.
May represent the organization as a primary contact on assignments and/or projects. Interacts with senior professionals and management and frequently coordinates work between departments or organizations.
Work Experience:
Typically 5 years with bachelor's or equivalent.
Education and Certification(s):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
Configures multiple functional areas. Defines configuration and ties it together across modules.
