AvtechTyee is searching for an Assistant Controller: with leadership experience and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help position our company for new growth and improved social responsibility. Project management skills would be a real plus!

You will be working on the finance team, supporting the VP of Finance.
Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Manage/Develop direct reports (2 Senior Accountants, Staff Accountant/AR Specialist, AP Specialist)
• Lead close process (monthly & quarterly) and ensure no deadlines are missed
• Assist in successful rollout of Standard Cost Roll
• Manage internal and external audits per audit calendar
• Assist VP of Finance with deliverables

And you will have

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or related appropriate field

3 years’ experience in the Accounting/Finance field

Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

Budgeting/Forecasting experience

Advanced Microsoft skills

Experience in an Assistant Controller role or at least experience managing direct reports preferred

Experience in manufacturing industry, specifically aerospace, preferred

CPA or MBA (or working towards it) preferred

Financial Statement preparation experience preferred

Process improvement experience preferred

ERP Implementation experience preferred

**Must be authorized to work in the U.S.**:

The salary range for this role is $110k - $140k, depending on experience.
