SUMMARY: Complete general preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning machinery using computer-based techniques.
- Make changes to PLC and CNC programs. Writes simple programs.
- Maintain backup library for all equipment operational programs.
- Install, program, and diagnose microprocessor controllers and systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair power supply wiring, conduit, and substation equipment for production machines.
- Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, and circuit boards.
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
- Install, remove, disassemble, and perform first-level repairs of stamping dies.
- Perform fabrication and machining work.
- Perform routine maintenance of all production and facility equipment.
- Support immediate needs of the Manufacturing department.
- Observe all safety and other company policies.
