AISIN Texas IT Manager
Job Summary:
AISIN Texas IT Manager, reporting to VP of Administration, will be responsible for leading the efforts to ensure compliance with ATX IT security policy. You will execute and oversee the review and analysis of the IT system impact of various business activities with appropriate budget and provide expertise to management and operations staff. IT Manager will also maintain the IT system and assets at ATX. Additionally, IT Manager will be responsible to align with Headquarters and related companies in the region.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise all IT staff
- Mentor and guide staff by developing and interpreting organizational goals, policies and procedures.
- Organize and oversee the work and schedules of the IT staff.
- Delegate specific assignments to staff based on experience and expertise.
- Conducts and/or assists with performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops IT policies based on All Toyota Security Guidelines (ATSG).
- Evaluates and manages IT security for business activities.
- Prepares IT rules & regulations.
- Evaluates business activities based on IT rules and regulations.
- Evaluates and trains staff utilizing KPI management.
- Prepares, manages and reports on IT budget performance.
- Executes and manages all IT projects as well as the monthly and yearly IT plans.
- Evaluates, improves and approves all IT job descriptions and functions.
- Document and update IT assets (hardware and software).
- Execute and oversee IT infrastructure operation and maintenance.
- Execute and oversee IT system operation and maintenance.
- Acts as a liaison to the Headquarters IT staff and other Aisin group companies IT staff preliminary US based, but not limited to.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to make independent decisions, prepares narrative reports, and act as a liaison between departments and staff members at Headquarter and other Aisin group IT.
- Ability to understand and update information technology.
- Ability to negotiate with departments and contractors.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and conduct informal negotiations with other departments, outside entities, and private consultants.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and sketches.
- Ability to evaluate and train staff.
- Ability to negotiate contracts.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in management information system, information technology, computer science or related field required.
- Master’s degree in management information system or related studies preferred.
- Project Management Professional or related major IT professional certification preferred.
- At least 8 years of professional Manufacturing IT experience in planning, executing, and maintaining IT projects preferred.
