About the Opportunity :

Job Title : Production Tech 1

Pay : $17.00 / Hour

Location : Stillwater, MN

Schedule : 1st Shift, Monday Friday, 7 : 00am 3 : 00pm

Daily Functions :

This job is responsible for assigned aspects of the production process which may include material handling, equipment operation, packaging products, process monitoring, quality control, cleaning, and various support activities for the manufacturing department.

This role involves timely completion of production runs while maintaining quality standards. Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on customer formulation and volume requirements.

• With basic knowledge of production processes, performs duties for the manufacture of chemical products and lubricants.
• Operating and monitoring production equipment such as conveyors, fillers, labelers and lot coders, carton tapers, cappers, and sealers.
• Meet production schedule, procedure, and volume goals in coordination with coworkers.
• Monitoring production processes and / or equipment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with equipment, devices, or products.
• Gather and arrange materials ensuring adequate inventory of packaging and ingredients.
• Update production schedule and job order documentation, batch records and progress reports.

Desired Qualifications :

• 1 year of experience in production, manufacturing or warehouse.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to complete tasks that are assigned.
• Thrive working in a small, innovative team environment.
• Experience working with industrial equipment in production environment.
• Experience in production equipment operation and warehousing techniques.
• Proven team player with a can-do attitude able to work with minimal supervision once fully trained.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with others.

Physical Requirements :

• The employee must frequently lift 43 pounds.
• The employee must stand for long durations of time.
• The employee is required to operate machines and maneuver items.
